How we pick gear

The rules every page on this site follows.

1. We compare what is actually in stock

Each jersey and hat guide lists the specific cuts and colorways retailers carry right now, with a link to each store. If a store does not carry an item, it is not listed for that item, even if that store pays a higher commission.

2. Every page has something you cannot get from a product listing

A comparison across stores, the context of the season, a sizing note with its source, or a plain opinion. If we cannot add one of those, we do not publish the page.

3. Roster accuracy

Player pages carry a last-verified date and are reconciled against the official roster weekly. When a player leaves, the page moves to the Legends section or redirects within 48 hours. We will not sell you a jersey for a player who is no longer here.

4. Commissions do not change picks

We earn a commission from some links. Commission rates differ by store. Our pick is the one we would buy; the commission is noted on the disclosure page.

5. How player and ticket pages are built

Every player jersey guide starts from the official roster and the retailer catalogs, not from search results. We list the cuts and colorways each retailer actually stocks, link to the specific product or player page rather than a search, and note sizing with its source, usually the maker's or the retailer's own size chart. Ticket pages use the stadium's own seating and parking information. We show no live ticket prices, because we have no price feed; any price range on a ticket or parking page is labelled as our estimate with the date it was made. Amazon listings only appear when the seller is a licensed maker, confirmed through the product's brand page, and we hold back anything we cannot confirm.

6. How the news board works

The live feed on our home page is a board of other outlets' Seahawks coverage: the Seattle Times, KING 5, Field Gulls, Heavy, Pro Football Talk, the Seahawks Draft Blog, the team's own site and video channel, and the next opponent's club site. We write none of it. Every headline links straight to the outlet that reported it, and we do not copy or summarize their stories.

Thumbnails are each outlet's own share image, the one it publishes in its feed for exactly this purpose, requested at a small size and loaded from the outlet's servers. We never download, store or re-host them. If you run one of these outlets and want your images or your headlines off the board, tell us and we will turn them off.

7. What we do not do

We do not publish a page for every player. A jersey guide exists only where fans are actually searching for that player's jersey and we have something to add beyond a list of links. We do not show Amazon images or prices, because Amazon's terms restrict those to its API, and we do not use team logos, because they belong to the team.

8. Corrections

Found an error? Tell us. We fix it and note the change on the page.
