Players who are not on the roster but whose jerseys people still want. Mostly Mitchell & Ness throwbacks and Nike retired-player editions.
Two kinds of player live here. The franchise names whose jerseys never go out of production: Steve Largent, whose number 80 is retired, and the Super Bowl XLVIII core of Marshawn Lynch, Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman, sold as Mitchell & Ness throwbacks and Nike legacy jerseys. And the recent departures whose Seahawks jerseys are still in stock but no longer current: Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, now in Pittsburgh, and Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III, who signed with Kansas City this offseason and returns to Lumen Field on October 25.
A legend's jersey is a fine gift for a fan who was there. It is a bad gift for a kid who wants what the current team wears, and marketplace listings do not make the distinction, which is why these are separated from the current roster.
