Seahawks vs Bears game day guide: Monday Night Football at Lumen Field
The first look at this game, written ten days before Seattle plays Kansas City and seventeen before this one, the morning after Seattle’s 17-14 overtime loss at Denver. Chicago comes to Lumen Field for Monday Night Football in the second season under Ben Johnson, 3-2 after five games, and with its starting quarterback, Caleb Williams, nursing a hamstring injury. This page will be updated as the line, the injury reports, the forecast and the game-day details are published; anything the teams or the stadium have not announced yet is marked that way.

How to watch
ESPN has Monday Night Football, so the game is on ESPN on cable and satellite and on the live-TV streaming services that carry ESPN. Whether this game is also simulcast on ABC, which would put it over the air in Seattle, has not been announced; we will add the broadcast details, and the crew, in game week. NFL+ streams games on phones and tablets. The Seahawks app carries the local radio call for listeners in the Seattle area.
The line
There is no line for this game yet. The number will move with both teams’ next two games. We will add the spread, total and moneyline with the book and the date and time checked, and the Seahawks odds page carries the line for every game and Seattle’s record against it.
As with every game: Washington allows sports betting only in person at tribal casinos, and there is no legal online sportsbook in the state. We carry no sportsbook advertising, and the numbers are here because fans ask, not as advice.
At the stadium
Gate times for a 5:15 p.m. Monday kickoff are not announced yet; the club usually posts its game-day guide a few days before. For this season’s 1:25 p.m. games, general gates opened about two hours before kickoff, with club and suite entrances and the Ticketmaster Tailgate earlier. Inactives come 90 minutes before kickoff, at 3:45 p.m. A Monday night in early November in Seattle can be cold and wet; we will add the forecast in game week.
What to bring. One clear tote or clear backpack up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches (a backpack with no more than two pockets), a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5. Walker’s Lockers near the north and south entrances hold anything else. Medical and diaper bags go through the VIP gates or the club and suite entrances for inspection.
Paying. Lumen Field is cashless. If you only have cash, the cash-to-card kiosks by Section 131 in Olympic Hall, Section 103 on the main level and in the Event Center load $1 to $500 with no fee, though kiosk cards do not work at the Amazon Just Walk Out stands.
Getting there
Take the train. Link’s 1 and 2 Lines stop at Stadium and Chinatown/International District stations, and Pioneer Square station is a short walk. A Monday night kickoff lands at the end of the evening commute, so leave extra time. Whether Sound Transit adds service for this game has not been announced; we will add it when it is.
Parking and tailgating. The North Lot and the Lumen Field Garage are sold by the season, so there is no single-game parking in either; the team points fans to SpotHero for the private lots around SoDo. Tailgating is not allowed anywhere on Lumen Field property. Our parking guide covers the lots and garages around the stadium.
Tickets
Season tickets are sold out. The club’s advice is to buy only through Seahawks.com or verified resale, and it names NFL Ticket Exchange, StubHub and SeatGeek. Our Bears ticket guide covers where to sit for this game and where to buy, and the seating chart guide explains the bowl. We do not show prices, because we have no live feed that keeps them true; check the seller for the all-in total.
